After more than 6 months of waiting, Ellington In Order Volume 8 is finally available.
It covers the period from May 14 to October 26 1937.
Most of it are small group recordings made by Irving Mills’ Master Records. They are all available also in the Mosaic box Duke Ellington: The Complete 1936-1940 Variety, Vocalion and OKEH Small Group Sessions.
The small group session made by ARC-Brunswick on October 26, 1937 is also in the Mosaic box.

The only big band music (and some real good one) available in the new Ellington In Order is from Sep 20, 19 and recorded by ARC-Brunswick. It is also available in another Mosaic box The Complete 1932-1940 Brunswick, Columbia and Master Recordings of Duke Elington and His Famous Orchestra.

As always, Ian Bradley has provided a detailed discography of the new Ellington In Order and it is available on his website.
Finally, how long will we have to wait for the next Ellington in Order and when will Sony Music start to include some rare gems in the Ellington In Order series?
