The DESS Bulletin is published four times a year and is provided free of charge to members of DESS in printed and digital versions. Its content is focused on helping members to learn more about Duke Ellington – the orchestra and its members, recordings, compositions, tours etc – and what is happening in the world-wide Duke Ellington community but also to report on the work and the many activities of The Duke Ellington Society of Sweden. With its many special features and analytical articles and its interviews unique photos and reviews of CDs and DVDs, it is a must for anyone with an interest in Ellington. It has content in both Swedish and English.
The Bulletin has been published since 1994 and all published issues are available to DESS members in the list to the left, which is organised in 3 year groups which are password protected.
DESS member Göran Axelsson catalogued the content of the first 10 years The catalogue presented each issue with a cover picture and a short description of the content. It is integrated into the list of published Bulletin issues.
