We continue our series on presentations at the Ellington conference in Toronto in 1987.
We are now in the afternoon of the fourth day of the conference and we will hear Buck Clayton talk about when he first heard Ellington and got married in Holluwood thanks to Sonny Greer and Ellington. The second part of the talk is Clayton answering all sorts of questions from the conference participants. It is obvious that he likes to talk and has a lot of humour.
Clayton had just issued his autobiography when the conference took place and so he had everything in his head.

Don’t miss this very enjoyable presentation!
