Some ten days ago we published Phil Schaap’s presentation at Ellington ’91 of films and film clips with Duke Ellington or artists connected to him. One of them was the 1943 RKO film Duke Ellington & His Orchestra. It is of course a film in black and white but someone has made a color version of it and made it available on YouTube.
I wonder what the readers of Ellington Galaxy think about it. Please tell me!
