DESS Bulletin

The DESS Bulletin is published four times a year and is provided free of charge to members of DESS in printed and digital versions. Its content is focused on helping members to learn more about Duke Ellington – the orchestra and its members, recordings, compositions, tours etc – and what is happening in the world-wide Duke Ellington community but also to report on the work and the many activities of The Duke Ellington Society of Sweden. With its many special features and analytical articles and its interviews unique photos and reviews of CDs and DVDs, it is a must for anyone with an interest in Ellington. It has content in both Swedish and English.

The Bulletin has been published since 1994 and all published issues are available to DESS members here. DESS member Göran Axelsson has catalogued the content in the issues of the first 10 years The catalog presents each issue with a cover picture and a short description and has a link to each of them. EN means that the article is available in English.
